Hot Lunch Program

Merenda Food Services offers a variety of delicious hot lunches.

Each meal includes a beverage of your choice, an appetizer, an entree and a dessert. All meals follow the EMSB's Nutrition Policy

Merenda will provide hot lunches every day except on Pizza and Subway days.

Merenda is committed to protecting the environment. All the containers used to package meals are recyclable.

Cost

Each meal:	$5.85
Fee for credit card:	$2.00

To order a meal

Meals can be ordered at any time. Send the completed ordered form to Merenda either by mail, fax or e-mail within the following delays:
By mail: Allow 7 days By fax or e-mail: Allow 24 hours

Payment

Merenda's policy requires that the order be paid in full before the start date of service. Orders sent by fax or e-mail must be paid by credit card.

By cheque or money order:
All cheques must be payable to Merenda.
All cheques under $15.00 will be refused.
Post-dated cheques are accepted. Contact Merenda for more information.

NSF cheques:
A charge $20.00 will apply for any NSF cheque. A cash payment or money order will be required to continue the service.

By credit card:
Visa or Mastercard are accepted.
An additional fee of $2.00 will be added to all credit card transactions.

Cancellation

To cancel an order for a specific day, please contact Merenda within the following delays:
By phone:
Before 8:00am for same day cancellation
By fax or e-mail:
Allow 24hrs notice

For your cancellation to be effective, the following information is required: the schoolname, the child's name and homeroom, and the date to cancel.

Credit notes or confirmation are not required to use your credit. On the next menu choose a free meal. Indicate the cancellation date in section #3 of the order form and the amount in credit in the section #4.

Customer Service

By phone, leave a detailed message any time and Merenda will call you back, if necessary, within 24 hours of your call (between 8:00 A.M and 9:00 P.M.). Please provide your work, home and cellular phone numbers to facilitate the call back.
By fax or e-mail, Merenda will also call you back within 24 hours, if necessary.
